Sandra has worked in the wine industry for almost 30 years. After earning her Master’s degree in Enology at California’s renowned UC Davis she went on to make 20 vintages at Tinhorn Creek winery and became the winery’s CEO. She implemented many industry innovations including the first use of Stelvin screwtops, a sustainability program that included Canada’s first carbon-neutral winery, an unparalleled health and safety program, community-based tourism and led the way for BC’s first sub-appellation — the Golden Mile Bench. Sandra currently sits on the Minister’s Council for Tourism in BC and is the founder of Fortify, a business conference for the beverage industry.
