Rosa has been working in the occupational health and safety field since 1998. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, having written her thesis on the integration of occupational safety into existing management systems and graduating with honours.
She has developed and implemented OHS programs for the mining, textile and light manufacturing industries,creating policies, procedures, training materials as well as a variety of other OHS documentation.
She has also implemented continuous improvement projects and lean manufacturing initiatives, both of which complement the best practice of occupational health and safety.
Rosa has over two years of instructional and mentoring experience with the Manufacturing Safety Alliance of BC.
