Jordie joined WorkSafeBC in 2003 as Senior Research Analyst, and was directly involved in the development and analysis of key performance indicators and the development and delivery of business intelligence solutions. In 2011, Jordie took on the position of Manager, Business Information & Analysis, where he was responsible for a team of analysts involved in statistical analysis, the development and analysis of key performance indicators, and the development and delivery of business intelligence solutions. In 2014, Jordie took the position of Manager, Risk Analysis Unit, and is part of a team responsible for developing and implementing risk frameworks, and identifying, assessing and mitigating risks to workers that are deemed to be catastrophic, emerging, difficult to detect, or slow-acting.
Jordie has a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University specializing in Finance, and was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Jordie has also earned the Canadian Risk Management designation.
